MÉCÉNAT AU CHÂTEAU DE LAUBADE
More than an artist, Christophe Doucet is first of all a « Gascon » (an inhabitantof the Gascony region). He is living in the Landes, in a former resin distillery. He has studied agricultural techniques before entering the Beaux-Art in Bordeaux and then pursuing his artistic way in Disuvero studio, in New-York. All his work of art is based on a very close relationship with the forest life (old trunks, cork, burrows…). The wood of the Clippers was found in the domain. According to the artist, this instrument is a symbol for governance and for vine. From a mastered governance depends the best balance and quality for eaux-de-vie.
